Gurgaon has emerged as a favorite destination in Northern India in the last decade as a land of opportunities in IT/ITES & BPO services. As a result, many people like to shift their base to the fast growing city for employment purpose. However, they do get a chance to have fun and entertainment as the city and its surrounding places offer plenty of options for sight-seeing and amusing activities.

Places around Gurgaon include: Tehsil Sohna, Tehsil Nuh, Tehsil Pataudi, Tehsil Ferozpur Jhirka and Sub-Tehsil Farukhnagar. The Tehsil now has remarkable buildings like: the palace of the Nawab of Pataudi, a temple of Mahadeva at Inchapuri and Ashram Hari Mandir Sanskrit Vidyalaya that attracts a large number of tourists every year.

Besides this, the Tehsil Ferozpur Jhirka founded by Firoz Shah Tughluq is now visited by tourists for its ruins and the Jhirka that is the perennial stream and the sub-Tehsil Farukhnagar which is octagonal in shape is popular among the masses for its Jami Masjid which is built by Faujdar Khan.
